RULES

Rules of the “Hunt Treez” Game

Free game, no purchase necessary — Paris, Liège and future edition

1. PREAMBLE
HYPR VENTURE STUDIO, the publisher of the Treez application, organizes a one-off contest called “HUNT Treez”
(the “Game” or the “HUNT”), which consists of hiding a physical gift in the public space of a given city, whose
location is revealed to participants via the Treez application. The Participant who is the first to reach the location
wins the prize, under the conditions described in these rules (the “Rules”).
These Rules set out the conditions of participation, safety rules, the respective liabilities of the Organizer and
Participants, and the processing of personal data related to the Game.

Article 1 — Organizing company
The Game is organized by HYPR VENTURE STUDIO, a company incorporated under French law, registered with the
Trade and Companies Register of Lille Métropole under SIREN number 929 964 187, with registered office at 34
Place du Général de Gaulle (office 3), 59800 Lille, France (“Treez” or the “Organizer”), publisher of the Treez
mobile application.

Article 2 — Definitions
● Application / App: the Treez mobile application, available on the App Store and Google Play.
● Account: a user account created by a Participant on the Application.
● Map: the map tab accessible from the Treezors room, on which the HUNT pin appears.
● Pin: a geolocated marker indicating, once revealed, the approximate or exact location of the Prize.
● Edition: an occurrence of the Game organized in a given city on a given date (e.g., Paris edition, Liège edition).
● Participant: any natural person meeting the conditions of Article 4 who takes part in an Edition.
● Prize: the physical gift at stake in an Edition, supplied by a partner brand.
● Treezs: the in-app tokens earned through Match and Pass actions, not required to take part in the HUNT.

Article 3 — Principle and scope
3.1 Principle
A Prize is physically hidden in the public space of a city, at an accessible location chosen by the Organizer. On the
day of the Edition, a push notification informs Application users that the Game has opened; the corresponding Pin
is revealed on the Map, in the Treezors room. The first Participant to physically reach the indicated location, find
the Prize, and have their discovery validated in accordance with Article 6 wins the Prize.

3.2 Editions covered

These Rules apply to every HUNT Edition organized by Treez, regardless of city. For information, a first edition is
scheduled in Paris starting the week of July 20, 2026, followed by an edition in Liège [date to be confirmed]. The
specific characteristics of each Edition (city, date, time window, Prize, value) are set out in an appendix or
dedicated communication, which supplements these Rules without derogating from them.

3.3 Free game, no purchase necessary

Participation in the Game is entirely free and requires no purchase, no spending of Treezs, and no financial
commitment of any kind. No participation, connection, or travel costs are covered or reimbursed by the Organizer.

Article 4 — Conditions of participation
4.1 Any natural person may take part in the Game who:
● has downloaded the Application and created an active Account;
● has enabled push notifications on the Application;
● is at least 18 years old on the date of the Edition. Minor Participants must be able to provide proof of
parental/guardian authorization if requested by the Organizer, in particular for the handover of the Prize
or the use of their image;
● resides in a country where the Game is legally accessible.

4.2 Only one Account per natural person is permitted. Any detection of multiple accounts belonging to the same
person will result in exclusion from the Game, without prejudice to the measures set out in Article 10.

4.3 The following may not participate: employees, officers, interns and service providers of the Organizer directly
involved in organizing the Game, as well as members of their household.

4.4 Participation in the Game implies full and unreserved acceptance of these Rules.

Article 5 — How the Game works
5.1 The exact time of Pin reveal is not announced in advance; only a push notification, sent on the day of the
Edition, informs users that the Game has opened.

5.2 The Pin appears on the Map, in the Treezors room. Its precision (exact location or approximate area) is
determined by the Organizer and may vary between Editions.

5.3 It is each Participant's responsibility to travel, at their own expense and under their sole responsibility, to the
indicated location, in compliance with the safety rules in Article 8.

5.4 The Organizer reserves the right to adapt, at any time and for safety or organizational reasons, the reveal or
validation procedures, without this giving rise to any right to compensation.

Article 6 — Determining the winner and validation
6.1 The winner of the Edition is the Participant who is first to physically locate the Prize and have their discovery
validated according to the procedure indicated on site (validation in the Application, confirmation with a Treez
representative present on site, or any other means communicated on the day of the Edition).

6.2 In the event of a dispute over the order of arrival or the validity of the discovery, the Organizer or its on-site
representative shall decide at its sole discretion, based on available evidence (validation timestamp in the
Application, on-site representative's report, video evidence). This decision is final, subject to the remedies
provided for in Article 16.

6.3 If no Participant comes forward or manages to validate their discovery within a reasonable period set by the
Organizer, the Organizer may, at its discretion, extend the Edition, designate another method for determining the
winner, or cancel the Edition under the conditions of Article 14.

6.4 The winner is notified by the Organizer or its on-site representative on the same day. The Prize is in principle
handed over immediately on site; failing that, the Organizer will contact the winner via their Account to arrange
handover within 30 days.

Article 7 — Prize
7.1 Each Edition puts a single Prize at stake, supplied by a Treez partner brand, whose nature and indicative
commercial value are communicated before or on the day of the Edition.

7.2 The Prize is awarded as is, with no possibility of exchange for its cash value, for Treezs, or for another prize,
unless otherwise decided by the Organizer. It is personal to the winner and may not be transferred to a third party
before it is actually handed over.

7.3 Visuals used to present the Prize in Treez communications are not contractually binding.

7.4 The Organizer does not guarantee the characteristics of the Prize beyond those announced by the partner
brand; any applicable legal warranty (conformity, hidden defects) is to be exercised, as applicable, directly with
that partner brand or the manufacturer.

Article 8 — Safety rules and conduct
8.1 Throughout their participation, the Participant agrees to:
● comply with traffic regulations, pedestrian and cycling rules, and traffic lights and crosswalks;
● run or move quickly only under conditions that do not endanger themselves or others;
● not trespass on any private property, construction site, or premises closed to the public, and not damage any public or private property in order to access or retrieve the Prize;
● respect residents, shopkeepers, and other users of the public space;
● not dig, dismantle, or climb any dangerous or unstable structure, nor use any tool to access the Prize;
● comply with any safety instructions communicated in the Application or by a Treez representative present on site.
● Do not drive a motor vehicle under dangerous conditions to reach the assignment location.

8.2 The Game takes place in public spaces, under real traffic conditions. The Organizer recommends heightened
caution, particularly near roadways, public transport, and crowded areas.

8.3 Any dangerous, unlawful, or public-order-violating conduct observed before, during, or after the Edition will
result in the immediate exclusion of the Participant concerned, without prejudice to any legal proceedings.

Article 9 — Liability
9.1 The Participant takes part in the Game at their own sole risk and responsibility. They acknowledge that their
participation involves travel in public spaces and undertake to personally assess the risks inherent to such travel
(traffic, crowd density, layout of the location).

9.2 The Organizer may not be held liable, to the extent permitted by applicable law, for any bodily, material, or
moral damage suffered by a Participant, or caused by a Participant to a third party, in connection with their
participation in the Game, except in the case of proven and exclusive fault on the part of the Organizer.

9.3 The Organizer is not liable for the consequences of improper use of the Application, loss of connectivity,
technical malfunction, delay, or geolocation error beyond its control.

9.4
Nothing in this Article shall exclude any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law (in
particular in the event of gross negligence, willful misconduct, or harm to life or physical integrity attributable to
the Organizer).

Article 10 — Fraud and disqualification
10.1 Any fraud or attempted fraud, in particular the creation of multiple accounts, the use of falsified location
information, an abnormal pace of actions in the Application, or any technical manipulation aimed at gaining an
unfair advantage, will result in the Participant's exclusion and the cancellation of their participation, without prior
notice.

10.2 The Organizer reserves the right not to award the Prize, or to reassign it, if it finds that it was obtained
through fraudulent means or in violation of Article 8.

Article 11 — Right to image
11.1 The winner's discovery of the Prize, as well as, more generally, the Edition itself, may be photographed or
filmed by the Organizer or its service providers, for broadcast on the Application and on Treez's social media for
communication purposes.

11.2 Any identifiable person filmed or photographed will be offered, before publication, a written image rights
authorization specifying the media and duration of use intended. In the absence of a signed authorization, their
image will not be publicly broadcast, or will be blurred.

11.3 Identifiable minors may only be filmed or photographed with the prior written authorization of their parent
or legal guardian.

Article 12 — Personal data
12.1 Personal data collected in connection with the Game (Account identifier, geolocation data during
participation, any contact details of the winner) is processed by the Organizer, as data controller, for the purposes
of organizing the Game, determining the winner, handing over the Prize, and preventing fraud.

12.2
The legal basis for processing is the performance of pre-contractual or contractual measures related to
participation in the Game, as well as the Organizer's legitimate interest in ensuring the security and integrity of
the Game.

12.3 Data is retained for as long as necessary to manage the relevant Edition and process any claims, and is then
archived or deleted in accordance with Treez's retention policy.

12.4 In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act, each Participant
has the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to, and port their data, which they may exercise by writing to
[email address to be confirmed, e.g., privacy@treezapp.com]. They also have the right to lodge a complaint with
the CNIL (France) or the Data Protection Authority (Belgium).

12.5 Full details of data processing are set out in the Application's privacy policy, which this Article supplements
without derogating from it.

Article 13 — Intellectual property
13.1 The Treez brand, logo, the HUNT concept, the Application, and all associated graphic elements are the
exclusive property of the Organizer or its partners and may not be reproduced without prior authorization.

13.2 Any content (photo, video, comment) published by a Participant in connection with the Game on their own
social media may be reshared by the Organizer on Treez's channels, subject to crediting the source and, where
necessary, the prior consent of the Participant concerned.

Article 14 — Modification, postponement and cancellation
14.1 The Organizer reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to postpone, shorten, modify, or
cancel all or part of an Edition, in particular in the event of force majeure, a safety incident, a proven risk to
Participants or third parties, inability to access the hiding location, or a requirement imposed by a public
authority.

14.2 Such a decision will be communicated as soon as possible via the Application or Treez's social media and
shall not give rise to any compensation for Participants.

14.3 The Organizer may suspend an Edition in a given city without this affecting other Editions in progress or
planned.

Article 15 — Complaints
Any complaint regarding the conduct of the Game must be sent to the Organizer, in writing, within 15 days of the
close of the relevant Edition, to the following address: 34 Place du Général de Gaulle (bureau 3), 59800 Lille,
France. No complaint will be considered after this period.

Article 16 — Governing law and disputes
16.1 These Rules are governed by French law, without prejudice, for Participants residing in Belgium or another
European Union member state, to any mandatory consumer protection provisions of their country of habitual
residence that would remain applicable to them.

16.2 In the event of a dispute arising from the interpretation or performance of these Rules, the parties shall
endeavor to reach an amicable settlement. Consumer Participants may make free use of a consumer mediator.

16.3 Failing an amicable settlement, the courts having jurisdiction over the Organizer's registered office shall have
sole jurisdiction, subject to mandatory rules applicable to consumers.

Article 17 — Filing and acceptance of the Rules
17.1 These Rules are available free of charge, throughout the Game, at [URL to be confirmed, e.g.,
treezapp.com/hunt-rules] and may be sent upon written request to the Organizer.

17.2 Participation in the Game implies unreserved acceptance of these Rules in their entirety.
